Calderón congratulates Mexican divers for silver medal
Mexico, 30 Jul. (Notimex). – President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa voiced in Twitter his joy for the silver medal earned by Mexicans German Sanchez and Ivan Garcia in the 2012 Olympic Games.
“Congratulations to German Sanchez and Ivan Garcia, silver medalists in synchronized diving in the 10 meters category.
Congratulations!”, said the president via a social network.
In turn, the President of the Advisory Board of the National DIF, Margarita Zavala, wrote in her account “Plaaaaata para Mexico! In men’s synchronized diving 10m. Thanks to Ivan Garcia and German Sanchez”.
Both athletes won the olympic medal Monday in the discipline of synchronized diving, 10 metres category. Separately, the capital’s mayor-elect, Miguel Ángel Mancera Espinosa, also joined in congratulating the Mexican divers, from Guadalajara, Jalisco.
